Changan Shines at the 2026 Paris Motor Show

12th Oct 2026, Changan took part in the 2026 Paris Motor Show, launch our Nevo brand, latest products and commitment to the European market.

During the event, Mr Zhao Fei, General Manager of Changan Group, introduced CHANGAN NEVO, a brand designed to meet the needs of everyday families. Klaus, Global Chief Executive Advisor, shared the design philosophy behind NEVO, while Mr Yi Yin (Ethan) presented the launch of three models: the Q05, S07 PHEV and S05 PHEV, marking another step in Changan's international product expansion.

The AVATR CONCEPT T09 also made its global debut at the Paris Motor Show. The tech-luxury flagship SUV is the first model in AVATR's flagship product line.

Another important highlight was Changan's recognition of the capabilities and contribution of the Changan UK R&D Centre. Building on the Centre's established engineering expertise, Changan has outlined a strategy to further develop its European R&D capabilities, with the UK R&D Centre serving as a key technical hub. CAUK is expected to take on greater responsibilities in leading future vehicle performance development, calibration and cross-regional engineering collaboration.

In his speech, Mr Zhao Fei specifically highlighted the UK R&D Centre:

‘’Our UK R&D Centre is now based in 'Birmingham, and has grown with us in Europe.

The center was founded in 2011. We've invested 240 million euros and built a team of over one hundred. It focuses on making the powertrain and chassis work together, and making the car handle better. Over the last 15 years, the centre and our China team have helped developed more than ten engines and transmissions. As our models enter Europe, our local chassis team adapts every car to European roads and drivers. In Europe, for Europe.''
