The successful candidate will have a leading role in defining handling, drive comfort and braking targets of Changan products for the West Europe market.

Role is to lead test and development work on automotive electrified powertrains.

With the expanding sales market planned for Changan Auto vehicles we are looking for a Principal Engineer / Technical Specialist in Vehicle Dynamics CAE, to provide expert direction and support to achieve best industrial practice in the simulation of vehicle dynamics. The successful candidate will have a leading role in simulation of handling and steering of Changan products.

About the Role
As a Project Engineer - Evaluation and Road Test, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle evaluation and validation based on localised usage scenarios and preparing export reports while providing valuable suggestions to the project team. You will develop estimation strategies and oversee the execution of estimations, focusing on key areas such as the NVH, driving performance, power performance, smart cockpit, and autonomous driving, among other areas. Your insights will play a crucial role in supporting Full-Vehicle HW/SW Functional Integration & Performance Enhancement.

To be established in this role you will have up to date understanding of applicable carbon regulations across relevant markets, report latest trends on a regular basis and assist the local and wider leadership teams with carbon emission analysis and management strategies
