About the Role

As a Cockpit Test Manager - Tinnove, you will oversee the entire test lifecycle of automotive smart cockpit solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing test strategies, managing fault resolution, and ensuring alignment with key stakeholders. By optimising product compliance and enhancing market competitiveness, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality smart cockpit solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred majors include in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Software Development, Telematics, or a related discipline

  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive, IT, or electronics engineering (EE) sector, including a minimum of 2 years in a team leadership role

  • Proven leadership credentials, demonstrating strategic communication skills, a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD), cross-functional collaboration, and a strong systems-thinking approach.

  • In-depth operational knowledge of automotive testing protocols, industry-standard validation frameworks (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262), and local test facilities and approved vendor networks

  • Proficiency in English as the primary working language is essential. Knowledge of Mandarin, German, or any other European languages is desirable

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process control of IVI and cockpit software testing, including test case development and review, planning, environment setup, implementation, and reporting

  • Feature design and development review

  • Documentation for each phase of development, ensuring alignment with the SQA team

  • Software quality issue review and analysis, along with programme risk control

Other Features

  • Primary location will be at Birmingham Business Park

  • Travel may be required but depends on project requirement

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
