Senior or Principal Electrified Powertrain Development and Test Engineer

Degree level education likely in the field of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. Higher level degrees are also useful. Experience in the automotive sector is required developing electrified powertrain and components.  Background in automotive development environment. Experience in electrified powertrain including E-machine, driveline and engine. Knowledge and understanding of vehicle attribute engineering and target setting. Expert knowledge of Instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition equipment and powertrain test cells. Working knowledge of automotive calibration & data acquisition tools (ETAS INCA/MDA preferred). Experience of managing projects, including planning, executing, and reporting results. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to write and present high-quality reports to a varied audience. Ability to overcome cultural barriers.
