About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate & Public Sector Manager to support the successful launch and long-term growth of the Changan brand in the UK.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the business at a pivotal moment as we establish our UK busines. The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, proactive, and possess strong experience in the leasing and broker channels within the UK automotive sector.
As the UK Corporate and Public Sector Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Changan’s fleet and public sector strategy. This includes managing direct relationships with large corporate fleets, local authorities to secure key volume opportunities for Changan in the UK.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Strong understanding of the corporate & public sector within the UK automotive industry.

  • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to structure compelling offers and secure strategic partnerships that drive volume and profitability.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and build long-term relationships with key clients, public sector bodies, and procurement teams, fostering trust and ensuring ongoing business success.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver cross functional objectives.  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute Changan UK’s corporate & public sector channel strategy, driving volume growth, brand visibility, and long-term commercial success.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, fleet operators, local authorities, and public sector procurement departments to position Changan as the preferred vehicle supplier for large-scale fleets and public sector contracts.

  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and fleet agreements with corporate and public sector clients, ensuring competitive pricing structures that align with Changan’s business objectives.

  • Engage in public sector procurement frameworks and tenders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of public sector organisations.

  • Track and report on channel performance, including vehicle volumes, margins, customer acquisition, and partner satisfaction, providing regular insights to the senior leadership team.

  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and risks in the UK leasing and broker space, adjusting strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
