Job Purpose

Lead a small HR team to support all HR related activities to achieve business targets

Person Specification

Individual must have demonstrable skills at second-line level, based on experience acquired in a comparable environment to Changan UK

Essential skills & experience

  • 3 years related experience essential 
  • Fluent in both oral and written Chinese and English
  • Strong communication skills with a broader audience
  • Experienced in Microsoft Work package
  • Have in-depth knowledge in UK labour law
  • Have work experience in budget planning, recruitment and ER

Desirable skills & experience

  • CIPD level 5 or above 
  • Degree in HR or relevant subjects
  • Have work experience in a multi-cultural environment

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Control and administer HR and Administration budget management
  • Headcount planning / material
  • Management of the company's Skilled Worker Sponsorship license
  • Manage salary and company / compensation benefits
  • Support strategic planning in line with Chinese HQ requirement
  • Oversee, prepare and review HR policies and procedures, to include annual review
  • Supervise talent acquisition
  • Work closely with the UK and Chinese senior staff and line managers in providing guidance and support
  • Oversee / develop performance plans, monitor and evaluate workforce performance
  • Develop company skills matrix, competency framework
  • Manage training and development programme
  • Support UK and China knowledge transfer programmes, including international expat
  • Responsible for VIP event management including headquarter senior officials
  • Oversee employee welfare and relations issues for both UK and Chinese expat staff
  • Provide professional Chinese and English translation and interpretation support to operations and engineering departments when required
  • Support the cooperation and communication of UK operation and China operation department
  • Prepare operational and HR reports on a regular basis for HQ
