Job Purpose

Reporting to the Powertrain Test Manager , as a proven professional you will be required to deliver powertrain testing within a new state-of-the-art Powertrain Test Centre on gasoline engines, transmissions and e-motors.

Personal Specification

• Degree qualified or similar qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Strong numeracy and literacy
• Certain years experience is essential
• Good logical reasoning with problem solving skills
• Capable of leading small projects in the test environment
• Demonstrates a good level of knowledge of Powertrain testing. Ideally in the areas of both gasoline engines & hybridised powertrain
• Evidence of achieving results as a member of a test team
• A team player with a willingness to be flexible and adaptive

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineering departments to complete testing of Engines, Transmissions and Hybrid powertrains
• Evaluate measurement capability of the test facility and enhance where needed
• Assist in documentation of working processes & procedures
• Prepare & develop new test processes & methods
• As required, assist in the installation and/or upgrade of testing facilities
• As required, support the needed maintenance and/or repairs of the existing facilities
