Support general business operation, including English and Chinese business functions.

Personal Specification

  • Degree in business, accounting, communication, PR or similar discipline preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese essential.
  • Strong translation skills are essential.
  • Experience working in accounting and finance is strongly desired
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Must have a professional manner as well as a high level of interpersonal skills to handle time-sensitive and stressful situations.
  • Self-motivator and can work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Strong cultural awareness.
  • Experience working in PR and communication is an advantage.
  • Experience on China visa application and trip management is an advantage. Must be extremely well organised and has ability to provide highly accurate and quality work all the time.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Highly flexible and reliable. Be prepared to deal with emergency request.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the general business operations, offering administrative support to all departments/teams at CAUK, whilst also being responsible for CAUK/HQ/VIP Chinese business functions.
  • Support with translation and interpretation where appropriate for media and administration documents.
  • PR and communication support for both CAUK and HQ.
  • Provide editorial preparation for company quarterly newsletter and other releases/publications.
  • Provide backup to China HQ related Finance tasks when other Chinese speaking finance personnel is not available.
  • Assist with events and hosting activities.
  • Support Administration Manager with implementing social media and communication activities.
  • Support the HR Manager with documentation required by HQ.
  • Responsible for travel management, including flights, taxis, accommodation and travel itineraries.
  • Support with ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required by the Administration Manager.

Working Hours

37.50 hours per week (8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday/8:30 to 14:00 Friday)
